WEEKDAY GAMES

These are games like "Puerto Rico", "Goa", "Saint Petersburg", "Settlers of Catan", or comparable games that can be completed in an afternoon. Again, these games are being played at members' homes at times and days determined by interested players' availability.

September 17, 2024: Walt, Ernie and Charlie played two games. Walt was the winner of "7 Wonders" and Ernie won "Puerto Rico".
September 10, 2024: Ernie defeated Walt, Charlie and Natalie in "Alhambra". Then the four played "Splendor" in which Walt was the runaway winner. Finally, Charlie was the winner of a learning game of "Quirkle" over Walt.
September 3, 2024: Kammy was the winner of "Power Grid" by tie-break over Walt. The other players were Doug, Charlie and Ernie.
Walt defeated Ernie and Charlie in "7 Wonders". Then the three played "Thurn and Taxis", won by Ernie
August 20, 2024: Playing "Lewis & Clark", Charlie and Ernie both reached Fort Klatsop, but Ernie passed Charlie at game end to become the winner. Walt was the third player.
August 13, 2024: Ernie won a game of "Lords of Waterdeep" by tie-break over Walt; Charlie was the third player.
August 6, 2024: Charlie defeated Walt and Ernie in "Star Trek Catan".
July 30, 2024: Ernie and Charlie played two games: in the first Charlie was the winner of "Roll through the Ages: the Bronze Age" and the second was the cooperative game "Freedom", which the two won by a very slim margin.

May 14, 2024: Ernie defeated Natalie by a narrow 5VP in "Five Tribes"; the other player was Charlie.
May 7, 2024: Walt was the winner of "Lords of Waterdeep" by 1VP over Charlie and 3 VP over Ernie. Natalie was the fourth player.

February 26, 2024: Walt, Natalie, Charlie and Ernie were winners of the the cooperative game "Robinson Crusoe", achieving victory on turn 10 of 12.
February 19, 2024: Walt, Natalie, Charlie and Ernie played the cooperative game "Robinson Crusoe". The team lost the game; however they felt that they had not fully understood the game and its rules and areed that they would play it again next week.

November 28, 2023: Charlie defeated Ernie, Will, Mark and Walt in "Russian Rails". The game was called prior to the official victory conditions being satisfied.
November 21, 2023: Ernie was the runaway winner of "Western Legends" over Walt and Charlie. Will and Natalie played the early turns of the game but had to leave before it was completed.

August 15, 2023: Ernie was the winner of a vey close game of "Terraforming Mars" by a single VP over Mark, with Charlie close behind.

July 18, 2023: Will was the winner of "Mystery Express" by tie-break over Natalie; the other players were Charlie and Ernie.
July 11, 2023: Charlie won a solid victory in "Puerto Rico 1897" over Natalie, Will, Ernie and Mark. Those four finished within a single VP of each other.
July 4, 2023: Charlie defeated Ernie, Ted and Walt in "Empire Builder" The game was called before the normal victory conditions were met; at that point Charlie had earned the most money.
June 27, 2023: Will was the winner of "Lewis & Clark" by virtue of reaching Fort Clatsop ahead of Erbie, Charlie and Mark.
June 20, 2023: Will, Natalie, Charlie, Mark and Ernie played two games of "Alhambra", both won by Will; the first game was a runaway victory, but in the second Will defeated Charlie by a single VP.Then the five played "P.I."; Charlie, Will and Natalie finished tied with 17 VP but Charlie was the winner on tie-break.

May 10, 2022: Playing "Lewis & Clark" Charlie was the winner by being the first to reach Fort Clatsop. At that point Ernie was on the Snake River while Mark was in the front range of the Rocky Mountains.
May 3, 2022: Ernie as Rome defeated Charlie as Carthage in "Hannibal". The game was called after eight turns with Rome controlling two provinces more than Carthage.
April 26, 2022: Mark, Ernie and Charlie played the cooperative game "Lord of the Rings". The ringbearer made it all the way to Mount Doom but was captured by Sauron on the last die roll.

December 14, 2021: In his first time playing "Evolution: Climate" Walt defeated Mark, Ernie and Charlie.
November 30, 2021: Warren won a strong victory in "Airlines Europe" over Walt, Charlie, Mark and Ernie.
November 23:2021: Charlie was the runaway winner of "Palaces of Carrara" over Walt, Mark and Warren.
November 16, 2021: Walt was the winner of "Terraforming Mars" by a single VP over Charlie; the other players were Ernie and Mark.
November 9, 2021: Walt continued his undefeated streak by winning "Railroad Revolution", defeating Charlie and Ernie.
November 2, 2021: Walt Was the runaway winner of "Western Legends", followed by Charlie, Ernie and Mark.
October 26, 2021: Walt was the winner of "The Golden Age" over Mark, Ernie and Charlie by virtue of having a large number of Masterpiece cards. The game was called after Era III.
October 19, 2021: Charlie was the runaway winner of "The Golden Age" over Mark, Warren, Ernie and Walt by virtue of 11 VPs in Glory points. The game was called after two of the four eras; there will be a replay next week now that everyone better understands the game.

May 18, 2021: Ernie, playing Kennedy, soundly defeated Charlie as Nixon in"1960" with 378 electoral votes to 160.
May 11, 2021: Ernie as Stalin was the winner of "Churchill" over Charlie as Churchill and Mark as Roosevelt in the tournament scenario. The victory was due to Churchill finishing with too many victory points ahead of Roosevelt.
April 27, 2021: Ernie was the winner of "Brass" in a close game over, Charlie, Mark and Walt.
